Martin Luther King Jr., or MLK, is one of the greatest people of all time. He helped fight for the Civil Rights of African Americans in the South, after they became tired of being oppressed by the system. He would lead many [eaceful protests, and would become famous for his "I have a Dream" speech. His efforts and leadership would become successful, as many laws such as the Civil Rights Act of 1964 would be passed because of him and his movements. He would inspire other Black activists to also become Civil Rights leaders, such as Malcolm X and Stokely Carmichael. Though they also left a lasting legacy on Civil Rights for African Americans, none of them could compare to the greatness of MLK. MLK was sadly killed by a hater, though his soul would live forever in Civil Rights and the history of the United States.
